The Coffee Mamma story is a wonderful mix of Greek tradition and contemporary Australian innovation.
The inspiration for this unique business began in 1996 when we were holidaying in Tripoli - the home town of Antonia's father (George).
Walking through narrow back streets, we were lured by the delicious and intoxicating aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans and literally followed our noses to a small coffee roaster who shared the secrets of his art. So began a great business idea based on our love of coffee and a passion for creating a warm, inviting atmosphere for our customers.
In 2003 we opened our Coffee Mamma espresso bar in Olive St, Albury in the exact spot where Antonia's parents ran a confectionary bar, "The Rex", 40 years ago.
Our green beans are hand-picked and shade grown, we also feature organic and fair trade beans.
We roast our beans daily to ensure that your coffee experience is always fresh, whether you're visiting our espresso bar, stopping at our mobile van or ordering your coffee on-line.
We created a heavenly range of coffee blends that are custom ground to suit your espresso machine, percolator, dripolator and plunger.
